About Fort De Soto Camp Guide
We're campers who got tired of booking campsites without knowing what we were actually getting. The county reservation system tells you whether a site is available — but not what the site is really like. So we set out to change that.
Why we built it
Every camper knows the frustration: you reserve a site online, drive hours, and discover the pad is too short, the shade is gone, or your "water view" isn't quite what you expected. Fort De Soto has 236 campsites spread across three very different areas — and the official reservation system gives you very little detail about what makes one site better suited to you than another.
We wanted to change that. We spent time exploring the campground, photographing sites, measuring pads, noting shade patterns, recording water views, and organizing the details into one interactive guide. Now you can filter by the things that actually matter and choose your campsite with confidence.
What we track

The glamping side
We also offer a separate glamping concierge service for campers who want to arrive to a beautiful, fully prepared campsite. You reserve your Fort De Soto campsite through Pinellas County, tell us your site number and dates, and we handle the rest — from the 16-foot canvas bell tent and comfortable furnishings to bedding, lighting, outdoor living, and the extras that make your stay special.
When your trip is over, we break everything down and clean up. You get to show up, settle in, and enjoy Fort De Soto.
The guide and the glamping service are separate offerings, but they grew from the same idea: making a Fort De Soto camping trip easier, more comfortable, and more enjoyable.
